On Monday, May 13, 2013,
Cullman Fire Rescue will begin calling
businesses to schedule the Pre-Incident Planning
on buildings in the City of Cullman. This is
part of the ISO requirements and will help keep
insurance rates as low as possible. The
pre-incident plan gathers information that will
allow firefighters to be familiar with the
building lay-out, construction, and any hazards
that might be encountered as they respond.
Contact information is also recorded and will
help us to notify owners and occupants if an
incident occurs at their location. Valuable
information gathered will also give fire
department personnel the knowledge of the
utility shut-offs for the building, the hydrant
locations, and whether or not there are
sprinklers in the building.
PRE-INCIDENT
PLANS ARE NOT CODE INSPECTIONS.

The department will make
every possible effort to make sure this plan
does not interfere with operation of the
business.To assist with this process, the
following information can be gathered by the
business and be available when the fire
department arrives or emailed to the fire

Contact Numbers for the owner and occupant
key-holder of the business.

Site Map of the business.
*
Building Lay Out.
*
Hazardous Materials kept on-site.
