 The
City Planner is responsible for collaborating with city
officials, the planning commission, and others in developing
long and short term planning goals and objectives as well as a
comprehensive plan for the city. Cullman's City Planner is Jim
Fisher.
Responsibilities of the City Planner include general planning,
capital improvement planning, land use planning, zoning
ordinance administration, subdivision regulations
administration, historic preservation, and downtown
revitalization.

 The
Office of the City Planner is located in the municipal building across
from Cullman City Hall. Office hours are 8 a.m. through 4 p.m., Monday
through Friday.
