The City of Cullman Sanitation Department provides residential and commercial garbage pickup and residential recycling pickup for citizens of the City of Cullman and roll-off service for the City of Cullman and Cullman County. The Superintendent of the Sanitation Department is Delwin Kilgo. Office hours are 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

In addition to the garbage, recycling, dumpster and roll-off services mentioned above, the Sanitation Department also provides:

• Leaf and brush collection.

• Mowing of City rights-of-way

• Bush-hogging

• Litter control

• Insect/Mosquito Spraying

• Street sweeping

• Maintenance of the grounds of city parks

• Maintenance of the grounds around Cullman City Hall, the Cullman County Library and the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce
